Workshop and Exhibition theme: ‘Invest in women:
Accelerate progress’.
in celebration of 2024 International Women Day in Accra by the Women's Arts Institute Africa .
Participants would create works in a day for exhibition the
next day.
Workshop
·
Conversation among participants on the journey
of their creative expression
·
Production of creative projects.
Workshop Date: 7th March 2024.
Time. 8am - 4pm
Venue: World Bank Accra office
Application deadline: 16th February 2024
Condition of participation
· Artists may bring all materials including for the
production of works.
· Artists must write statement for the work produced.
· Works must be completed on the same day ready
for exhibition the next day.
· Artist must come along with snacks for sharing.
There would be water.
· Participants would be interviewed, photos and video
would be taken of activities and posted on social media and published.
· Artists must be available to collect their works
from 10am – 12:00pm on the 25th of March 2024
· Participants would sign a form indicating that if they do not collect their works, it would become the property of wAi Africa.

Theme of the exhibition, ‘Invest in women: Accelerate progress’.
Time: 6pm - 7:30pm
Exhibition continues from 9th - 24th March 2024
*Participations are to invite TWO - FOUR more people to the opening ceremony.
